Metal Gear Solid: Neu in HD

Nachdem Kojima Productions vor nicht allzu langer Zeit eine HD Collection mit dem zweiten und dritten Teil der “MGS”-Saga ankündigte, haben sie jetzt in einem Interview mit eurogamer bestätigt, dass sie auch interessiert sind, den ersten Teil als Remake für die PS3 zu veröffentlichen. Dieser soll jedoch nicht nur auf HD getrimmt werden, sondern eine komplette Überarbeitung des Gameplays und der Story spendiert bekommen.

Yoshikazu Matsuhana, Ceative Producer der Kojima Productions hierzu:

If we were going to do Metal Gear Solid 1 we’d want to take more time with it. Not just up-res the textures, not just make things look pretty and polished, but go back and tweak some of the gameplay, tweak the story to update things and do it properly. Not just a re-master but a re-imagining almost.
