Konami veröffentlicht ein frei verfügbares Trophäen Update für sein millionenfach verkauftes PlayStation 3 Epos Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Der Download installiert sich automatisch, sobald sich die User mit Hideo Kojimas Meisterwerk beim PlayStation Network anmelden und fügt dem Spiel 34 Trophäen hinzu. Die Trophäen belohnen Spieler für besonders geschicktes Spielen und das Auffinden von Easter Eggs – etwa indem man Gegner mittels Stahlfass überwältigt. Der Zeitpunkt, um Snake und einem der größten Titel für PlayStation 3 erneut einen Besuch abzustatten, war folglich nie besser!
Passend zu den Feierlichkeiten zum 25. Geburtstag der Serie wurden die Trophäen aufgrund der großen Nachfrage von Seiten der Metal Gear Solid Fans eingeführt.

Auf dem offiziellen europäischen PlayStation Blog wurde jetzt eine Liste veröffentlicht, die alle erspielbaren Trophäen inklusive Wert und Beschreibung zeigt. Hauptsächlich sind die 220 Trophies einfach zu erarbeiten und erfordern teils lustige Aktionen – wer den Titel noch nicht gespielt hat und keine Story-Spoiler erleben möchte, sollte seine Augen abwenden:
